Test drives for the Volkswagen Crafter

The press test drives of the new Crafter from Volkswagen were held in Almería, on the Mediterranean coast of Andalusia. The two-day event took place from the 8th to the 27th of November 2016. Volkswagen instructed the agency Event It from Hannover on the concept and implementation of the event, which selected Team Andaluces as DMC for on-site assistance.

The journalists were taken to the vehicles immediately after landing and briefing at the airport. The first stopover was at a picturesque vegetable farm belonging to ZOI that included lunch offered by the famous Goyo Caterers from Marbella in the midst of ripening paprika. After the exchange of cars, the journey continued to an oil mill and the set where scenes from the United States Fantasy TV Series “Game of Thrones” were filmed. The next day, we took to the road again, passing through breathtaking landscapes specially selected for their suitability for the tests and for photo opportunities.
